KINGSVILLE (Feb. 4, 2025) — Texas A&¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Director of Career Engagement and Corporate Relations Ralph Leal officially transitioned into his role as Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) President as of February 1.
Leal, who has been a member of SoACE and has held several leadership roles within the organization since 2013, was elected to the president-elect role in July 2024 and will serve as President through June 2026.
"I am overjoyed and privileged to serve as SoACE President," Leal said. "The board and I look forward to elevating the accomplishments of our membership and bring together the vast knowledge our association holds in best practices in early talent acquisition and career development.”
Leal is set to guide SoACE initiatives to enhance collaboration among colleges, universities and employers. He also will promote the best practices in career engagement, expanding professional development opportunities for all members and will represent SoACE at other national and regional associations of colleges and employers during his leadership terms.
SoACE is a professional association dedicated to the career development and employment of college students and alumni in 15 southern United States. SoACE fosters collaboration among higher education institutions, employers, and government agencies to promote best practices and innovative solutions in career services and employment.
